Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This Cookie Policy explains how Miralta Q, Inc., doing business as Harbor ("Harbor," "we," "us," or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.harbor.codes/ (the "Website"). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data and the rights you have.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, store information in your browser in a comparable way. In this Cookie Policy, “cookies” refers to both.
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies). Others stay on your device until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).
2. How We Use Cookies
We ask before we set any cookie that is not strictly necessary, wherever you are. Until you make a choice, or if you decline, only strictly necessary cookies are set and none of the providers described in Section 4 load.
We use four categories of cookies:
- Necessary cookies. The Website needs these to function and to remember your cookie choices. They do not require your consent.
- Analytics cookies. These help us understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages they view. We only set them if you accept them.
- Marketing cookies. These let Leadfeeder record the pages a visit views and identify the company behind it from its IP address, for sales follow-up. We only set them if you accept them.
- Identification cookies. These let RB2B, and the identity networks it uses, such as LiveIntent, match a visit to an individual business professional (for example their name, work email and job title), for sales and business-development outreach. We offer them only to visitors whose IP address places them in the United States, and RB2B never loads for anyone else, including visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. We only set them if you accept them.
We do not use cookies to show you ads. RB2B and the identity networks it uses may use identification cookies for their own advertising (see Section 4). Our hosting provider’s analytics service, Vercel Web Analytics, does not use cookies. It runs for every visitor without asking, because it stores nothing on your device. It counts visits in aggregate (for example, pages viewed, referring site, country, device and browser type, which buttons are clicked, and whether the contact form was sent) and does not identify you or your company.
3. The Cookies We Use
Information collected by analytics cookies is sent to PostHog, except harbor:contact-source, which stays in your browser and is sent to us only with your contact form submission. Information collected by marketing cookies is sent to Leadfeeder. Identification information is sent to RB2B and the identity networks it uses, such as LiveIntent, for US visitors only.
The table below lists the cookies we use, including those that the identity networks RB2B uses set on their own domains. The duration is how long a cookie stays on your device. Section 7 of our Privacy Policy explains how long we keep the information collected through analytics, marketing, and identification cookies.
| Cookie | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| harbor_consent | Harbor | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choices | 12 months |
| _vcrcs | Vercel | Necessary | Set only if Vercel's security checks challenge your browser, to confirm that the visit comes from a person and not a bot | 1 hour |
| __ph_opt_in_out_<project key> (local storage) | PostHog | Necessary | Records that you withdrew consent, so PostHog stops on the page you are viewing | Deleted the next time you load a page of the Website; otherwise until you delete it |
| ldfdr_opt_out (cookie and local storage), ldfdr_opt_out_expiry (local storage) | Leadfeeder | Necessary | Records that you withdrew consent, so Leadfeeder stops on the page you are viewing | Deleted the next time you load a page of the Website; otherwise up to 10 years |

| ph_<project key>_* (session storage) | PostHog | Analytics | Keeps track of the current browser tab and session | Until you close the tab |
| harbor:contact-source (session storage) | Harbor | Analytics | Remembers which button brought you to the contact form, so the form keeps it if you reload the page | Until you close the tab |

4. Our Analytics, Marketing and Identification Providers
PostHog. We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to measure how visitors use the Website, for example which pages they view and how they move between them. For more information, see PostHog’s privacy policy at https://posthog.com/privacy.
Leadfeeder. If you turn on Marketing, we use Leadfeeder to identify the companies that visit the Website by matching IP addresses to company information, such as company name and industry, for sales follow-up. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process IP addresses for this purpose and the choices you have. For more information, see Leadfeeder's privacy information at https://www.leadfeeder.com/privacy/.
RB2B. If you are in the United States and turn on Identification, we use RB2B, operated by GetEmails, LLC, which does business as RB2B and Retention.com, to match your visit to an individual business professional, for sales and business-development outreach. RB2B never loads for visitors outside the United States. RB2B’s code also loads LiveIntent and other identity networks, which set the identification cookies listed in Section 3. RB2B and these networks may associate your visit with other information they hold about you, including your email address. RB2B is not our service provider. It acts as an independent business and a “third party” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and uses the data it collects about your visit under its own privacy policy, including to provide, develop and improve its service, and for advertising. The identity networks use the data they collect under their own privacy policies. For more information, see RB2B’s privacy policy at https://www.rb2b.com/privacy-policy. You can ask to be removed from RB2B’s database at https://app.retention.com/optout. LiveIntent explains how it uses its cookies, including for advertising, and how to opt out at https://www.liveintent.com/ad-choices/.
For information about international transfers of personal data, see Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Wherever you are, we ask whether you accept Analytics, Marketing and, if you are in the United States, Identification cookies when you first visit the Website. They stay off unless you accept them, and rejecting them does not affect your use of the Website. You can accept or decline them, or choose by category under “Preferences”; no option is selected in advance, and declining is as easy as accepting. We remember your choice for 12 months, or until a change to this Cookie Policy or our Privacy Policy affects what you agreed to, and then ask you again.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” button in the Website’s footer. Our plain, machine-readable versions of the Website, such as https://www.harbor.codes/ai, have no footer: they do not show the cookie banner and do not load any of the providers described in Section 4. If you turn off identification cookies, we delete the cookies and local storage that RB2B and LiveIntent set on the Website. Cookies that the identity networks set on their own domains (lidid, uuid and tuid in Section 3) stay until they expire or you delete them in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data and of targeted advertising for that browser. Marketing and Identification cookies then stay off, even if you click “Accept,” and the banner tells you that we have recognized the signal. You can still turn them on yourself under “Preferences.” The signal does not affect Analytics cookies.
Opting out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal data for money. However, if you are in the United States and turn on Identification, making data about your visit available to RB2B and the identity networks it uses may be a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data under the CCPA and similar US state laws. You can opt out at any time: the “Cookie settings” button in the Website’s footer opens your cookie preferences, where you can turn off Marketing and Identification. You can also send a Global Privacy Control signal, as described above, or email [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.” You do not need to verify your identity to opt out. To ask RB2B to remove you from its database, use its form at https://app.retention.com/optout.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, we may not be able to remember your cookie choices. Your browser's help pages explain how to do this.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
